Below are full details of our currently scheduled events. Events are added on a regular basis so make sure you check again soon!

FoGH Dog Show

Sat 25th April: 10:00 - 11.30 am

Lower Football Pitch / Event Field

Registration from 9.30 am

Join us for our occasional celebration of the wonderful dogs that use our park!

Classes for: Best Young Dog Handler, Cutest Puppy, Golden Oldies, Best Trick, Waggiest Tail, Most Obedient, plus Best in Show.

Registation from 9.30 am with a £5 suggested donation to enter all classes.

This is a family friendly event, all are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

This FoGH event is free to attend, but donations are always welcome.

Pond Dipping

Sun 10th May: 10.30-12.30 pm

The Hub / Wetlands

Drop in session

Join us for a pond dipping session in the wetlands. Discover the creatures that live in the Park's water habitats with local expert Martin Sutton.

We'll be meeting at the Hub before heading to the wetland area to investigate.

This is a family friendly event, all are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

This FoGH event is free to attend, but donations are always welcome.

Find Grosvenor & Hilbert Park

The park is not always easy to find; even though it has 15 entrances! One of the main entrances is situated at the end of Camden Road / Quarry Road (follow the path behind the flats at the bridge).

If you're using SatNav use the postcode TN1 2HU which should get you to the entrance in Auckland Road, the playground and Table 8 Cafe. Or for the Hilbert Road entrance (for Skatepark and woods) use TN2 3SF. Car parking can be difficult, you will need to look for on street parking.

Or you could use the 'What 3 Words' system.

What 3 Words

What 3 Words is a system for locating a precise position in the world. Each 3 metre square is allocated a three word code.

This can be useful in an emergency or simply for meeting with friends (in what is a fairly large space!)
